Pillow Challenge Week

Erin over at House on a Hill Road is having a 'Pillow Challenge Week' and we thought it would be a nice idea to join in. We need to build up some stock for a few upcoming vintage and handmade fairs so thought the challenge might kick us into gear.

I don't think we will manage 1 a day but we do already have 7 cushions in various stages of making so by sunday we should hopefully have 7 finished. That's the plan anyway.

Things We Love Part One Vintage Polish Dolls

We thought it would be nice to share a few of the things that we love here in the Agnes Darling home. So first up is our collection of vintage wooden Polish dolls.

One for each of the girls in the house. We love how full of expression their faces are. Each one is slightly different and has their own character.

Obviously we can never resist one when we see them but 5 is our limit so the rest will be headed for the shop. In fact there is one in there now.

Shop News

Well our little shop is ticking along nicely. We've been selling on etsy and also ebay . Re-stocking those shelves is something we need to keep on top of and we've been busy sorting stock ready to photograph.

We are also hoping to start attending some local vintage fairs so watch this space.
